Supply Chain Administrator

SF Recruitment are supporting leading retailer in recruiting for Supply Chain Administrator to join the team based in Coventry on a permanent basis.
Salary: GBP25,000 p.a.

The Role:
-As the Supply Chain Administrator, you will be managing the day to day communications with suppliers and place purchase orders, expediting etc.
-Inputting sales orders, arranging delivery slots and relevant paperwork for deliveries.
-Keep internal databases updated.
Order Management: Take charge of order processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness from receipt to fulfillment. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining seamless operations.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and optimize stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
-Logistics Coordination: Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including scheduling shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues that may arise to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
-Supplier Communication: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, communicating effectively to address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate favorable terms to support our Supply Chain objectives.
-Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the Supply Chain, implementing best practices and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The Candidate:
As the successful candidate for the Supply Chain Administrator, you will have the following:
-Experience within a Supply Chain/Purchasing Administrator role.
-Strong administration skills.
-Excellent Communication & I.T Skills
