SalarySupply Chain Commercial Analyst -35k (Negotiable on experience)
Our client, a global company, is looking to recruit a Supply Chain/procurement individual to join their team to support the Supply Chain function within the organisation.
The role has two main responsibilities with data analysis work supporting these critical functions.
Supply Chain/Procurement:
- Day to day management of all suppliers
- On-going management and administration of supplier portal
- Ensure all suppliers (UK & Global) are registered and approved on the portal before any form of implementation
- Ensure all procurement activity in UK & Globally is done using approved suppliers
- Regular contact with & support with internal stakeholders on bid activity and advise on best working practices
Procurement Consultancy Services
- Assist in the development of commercial and Supply Chain bid propositions
- Provide client facing Supply Chain and procurement expertise and advice
- Assist in the preparation of implementation of consultancy wins
- Support with collating operational level information for bids and opportunities
- Manage and co-ordinate project set up for all consultancy programmes and activity
- Prepare month end invoicing for all consulting activity
Costings and data analysis is also critical in this role so my client is not only looking for someone who has a background in Supply Chain/Procurement but also has analysed data to identify specific trends, cost savings, better working practices and improved client interactions.
I’m looking for a candidate who has the background in Procurement & Supply Chain but you must also be comfortable analysing data & trends and also be happy dealing with high profile blue chip clients.
