Supply Chain Analyst

Foodbuy is a leading food procurement organisation based in the UK. We work closely with our clients to deliver expert procurement services saving them both time and money and enabling them to focus on what really matters to their businesses.
We are looking to hire a Supply Chain Analyst to assist the Service Manager with the management of outbound service (ie delivery to unit) including:

1. Implementation of new mobilisations through the supply base
2. Assisting with the management of outbound service issues to our Clients for multiple distributors
3. Compiling service trends to drive service improvement
4. Assisting with the production of standardised reporting to Foodbuy senior team and clients
5. Supporting on Supply Chain queries to the sector bid teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop excellent internal and external working relationships with key stakeholders

• Drive cost/service optimisation through management of key cost drivers, primarily delivery frequency
• Provide bid support and advice as required
• Be key point of contact for the supplier mobilisation process
• Ensure suppliers are briefed as necessary for new unit operations – resolve issues identified prior to unit launch
• Ensure excellent product availability during go-live through accurate forecasts, advanced order placement and rigorous post ‘Go Live’ support
• Ensure any new supplier or product requirements are processed prior to unit mobilisation
• Monitor depot performance levels
• Collate sector service level statistics and action plans

• Good analytical/numerical capability
• Working knowledge of end to end Supply Chain
