Job Title: Inventory Analyst
Location : Birmingham (Solihull)
Job Duties:
- Effectively plans, coordinates, and executes activities within its sphere to align with the business's objectives.
- Identifies deviations from established standards and implements corrective measures.
- Takes proactive measures to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provides administrative support for cycle counting activities, ABC report generation, and daily count scheduling in line with group policy.
- Assists supply chain and operations in conducting annual stock takes, performing variance analysis, and updating the ERP system for write-ons and write-offs.
- Regularly reviews ABC categories to ensure their ongoing relevance.
- Updates and reports on cycle count performance, collaborating with the supply chain manager to address deviations from the plan.
- Reviews supply chain dashboard performance, working with team members to identify and rectify issues, monitor trends, and implement improvement actions.
- examine non-nettable inventory, reaching agreements on corrections or mitigating actions.
- Adjusts MRP planning parameters for inaccuracies or new setups.
- Analyses excess and aged inventory, collaborating with relevant stakeholders and incorporating input from the supply chain manager to determine and implement actions.
- Participates in weekly inventory reduction reviews, taking ownership of specific actions as assigned.
- Updates stock Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as days on hand, stock availability OTIF, and reports discrepancies.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to dispose of redundant and damaged stock.
- Ensures accuracy in stock receipts, picking, packing, and consumption, bringing discrepancies to the attention of relevant stakeholders.
- Works with logistics, supply chain, and the group to ensure adherence to supply chain processes.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3 Years Experience in Supply chain & Inventory
- Manufacturing Experience
- QBE / Qualifications
- Supply chain Planning
