Description
- As the Supply Chain Manager you will oversee scheduling (order placement), customer services, demand planning, import, freight / 3PL management ensuring smooth operations.
- Implement strategies to enhance performance and productivity within the team, with a objective of managing a growing operation.
- Optimise the use of SAP for effective resource management and productivity.
- Support stakeholders to deliver on both customer and company objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers (internal & external)
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Lead and motivate the team to meet operational goals.
Profile
A successful Supply Chain Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the Life Science (or similar regulated environment) industry.
- Ideally a proficiency in SAP.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Good knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Job Offer
- An annual salary of circa £65,000 base (depending on sector experience and overall capability)
