Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnered with a well-established global business based in Bolton on the appointment of a Supply Chain Manager.

As Supply Chain Manager, you will working closely with the site management team in establishing and improving processes to ensure to establish enhanced efficiencies in order to achieve site and company objectives. Going through an exciting period of change, this role is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, forward-thinking and process driven individual to really put their own stamp on things, shape and implement improvements and really make a difference.

Joining an established small team across materials management, stock and logistics, the Supply Chain Manager will also need to lead from the front and by example whilst coaching and developing team members. This would suit an individual who enjoys fostering the growth in the team, being hands on in the day to day whilst also setting the pace, strategy and direction for the Supply Chain function.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within a Supply Chain / Materials Management leadership position
• Previous experience managing, coaching and developing people
• Ability to work with complex data, setting and measuring KPIs with a strong working knowledge of MRP - ideally SAP
• Experience shaping materials strategy with controlling inventory levels and leading stock rationalisation projects
