Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and Supply Chain Manager to lead the Supply Chain / planning and warehouse teams. This role will involve overseeing the end-to-end Supply Chain process, ensuring efficiency and productivity within the Preston site

Description

As the Supply Chain Manager you will,

• Lead and develop the Supply Chain team building engagement and performance
• Review, manage, and optimise the end-to-end Supply Chain process
• Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure service and continuity of supply
• Support and build strong working relationships with the site leadership team, helping to meet / exceed performance objectives
• Oversee inventory and warehouse management
• Develop the use of SAP

Profile

A successful Supply Chain Manager should have:

• Proven in managing end-to-end Supply Chains in a batch manufacturing based environment (chemicals / food / H&PC). This will include a working knowledge of production planning, supply planning, S&OP, and supporting a warehouse operation
• Ideally knowledge with SAP (or similar ERP) systems, including the use of demand modules
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to develop planning processes to support either make to stock or make to order operating models, whilst controlling inventory
