Supply Chain Manager

Bela Recruitmentis recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to work in the Dungannon area, Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

Lead the Supply Chain team by driving excellence in all daily activity.
This newly created role is a senior appointment and vital to ensure end-to-end Supply Chain process is effective and continues to improve.

Responsibilities
Take ownership of the full Supply Chain practices, constantly reviewing and improving relationships with suppliers.
Negotiating, monitoring, and improving performance, while ensuring cost controls, you don't need to source new suppliers or negotiate pricing, most suppliers are pre-agreed by the owners.
Analysing data, identify and solve issues and create alternative plans.
Lead & manage the team, ensuring excellent performance, accountability and business objectives are met.
Secure critical path management across all Supply Chain processes to ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements
· Ideally degree educated in Supply Chain or Material Management or business subject.
· Ideally 10+ years relevant experience in Supply Chain, with min 5+ years management experience, including
people development & management.
· Strong experience in material management, supplier relationship management, demand planning and
forecasting.
· Expert knowledge in logistics/freight forwarding and customs clearance processes.#
· Strong IT skills across an ERP system/planning/forecasting or relevant software and MS suite.
· Project management qualification such as Prince2, Agile or similar.
