We are currently working with a Peterborough based manufacturing company who are looking to hire a Supply Chain Planner on a full-time, long-term contract basis.
They’re looking or someone who can join the Supply Chain team who can help to run the production schedule and coordinate requirements with the suppliers.
Typical duties would include:
- Managing site production schedules
- Ensure raw materials and packaging are available for production
- Managing inventory levels
- Working with the purchasing team to ensure contracts are in place to cover demand.
The successful candidate:
- Previous Supply Chain experience
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
- Good IT skills - Excel in particular
- Communication skills both written and verbal
