??Position: Supply Chain Planner (Fixed Term Contract)
??Location: Burgess Hill
??Contract Length: 12 months Full Time
??Salary: £35k - £38k DOE
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a crucial role in our client's organisation. Your primary responsibilities will include developing demand forecasts, enhancing forecast accuracy, and facilitating inventory consensus for a specific sales programme. You will collaborate closely with the sales and procurement teams to ensure efficient Supply Chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop a 24-month rolling forecast based on historical sales, market trends, and expert input.
- Analyse data to identify areas where forecast adjustments are needed.
- Prepare data for monthly demand review meetings and actively participate in those meetings.
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for planning processes and systems.
- Continuously evaluate and improve forecasting techniques and approaches.
- Monitor and report on inventory health, on-time delivery, purchasing past due, and forecast accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2 years of relevant work experience within the sector.
- Experience in forecasting, supply planning, or production planning.
- Knowledge of basic ERP system functionality.
- Proficiency in analysing large amounts of data and identifying trends.
- Familiarity with Supply Chain planning software.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
