Supply Chain Planner - Fmcg Food Business

The Supply Chain Planner will be a critical link in the procurement and Supply Chain department of our retail industry client, ensuring the smooth operation of the Supply Chain process. The role will involve a shift pattern of Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday and will be fully on site with no hybrid option.

Description

• Manage and optimise the Supply Chain process to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyse and predict demand trends to optimise inventory levels.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Implement strategies to minimise Supply Chain disruption and costs.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Supply Chain process.

Profile

A successful Supply Chain Planner should have:

• A degree in Supply Chain management, business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Supply Chain management in the FMCG Food or Fresh Produce environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent negotiation skills and a strong network of suppliers.
• Proficiency in Supply Chain management software.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
