Form of workOur client are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will ensure sufficient stock availability across the wider business to support the achievement of sales targets.
Responsibilities of a Supply Chain Planner
- Work autonomously to drive inbound operations
- Raising PO’s on SAP
- Managing stock levels
- Negotiating prices with suppliers
- Maintaining up to date records of delivery dates
- Liaising with suppliers & factories for order and inventory queries
- Working with 3PL to ensure efficient delivery of shipments
- Daily admin tasks e.g. data entry, management reporting
- Support on projects as required
Key Competencies of a Supply Chain Planner
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar Supply Chain position
- Numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel
- Experience using modern ERP systems and CRM’s
- CIPS qualification - Level 3+ (desirable)
- Spoken/Written Mandarin (beneficial)
