We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Professional to work within the Supply Chain Team supporting the end to end Supply Chain process, warehouse volumes and unique project requirements for one of our major programmes.
Support of the delivery of programme materials and supporting documentation through preparation and control of process forms and requests, to ensure receipt, packing and lineside delivery is achieved to the required timescales and in accordance with the quality, legal and regulatory standards.
Maintain system integrity whilst adopting standard processes and ensuring compliance
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Supply Chain lead for both RBSL and customer owned materials, planning and co-ordinating the inbounding of materials, scheduling the picking and kitting of materials from both on-site and off-site locations against pre-defined KPIs.
- Manage the priotrities for the warehouse team (Wincanton) ensuring accuracy of data, adequate capacity and resource availability to acheive required delivery dates based on the manufacturing plan.
- Provide a flexible approach to enable support throughout the Warehousing & Logistics function to meet business requirements
- Interface with key stakeholders by attending regular programme stand up meetings to provide a seamless logistics service
- Responsible for the tracking and administration of GFX at Telford (and other sites as required) from receipt of issue vouchers through to disposal management, in line with the relevant DEFCONs and DEFSTANs relating to these processes.
- Lead interface between the operations, engineering, procurement and project management functions to ensure that the key stakeholders are aware of inbound GFE deliveries.
- Control the Issue Transaction Summaries and discrepancy reports; prepare data for KPI's and performance measurement trackers.
- Plan and manage warehouse works orders and planned orders from creation to ensuring their timely release into stores for kitting to order closure
- Co-ordinate material shortages from recept to line
- Support the Engineering Change Process and Non-Conformance process
- Create outbound delivery documentation & arrange booking slots ensuring compliance throughout.
- To carry out weekly comparisons and updates of the registers, collate support statistics and metrics and to furnish monthly reports on the material state of each project as required.
- Conduct and support PI counts in line with current business processes and report on any discrepancies unsupported
- Interrogate SAP to identify surplus, slow moving and general inventory projections reporting findings on a monthly basis to the Supply Chain Manager
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be deemed necessary by the business, and commensurate with the grade abilities.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Experience of managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ability to address conflicting requirements and priorities and dealing with escalations
- Be competent with MS Office suite and have a good understanding of ERP Systems (SAP)
- An understanding of Export requirements, including hazardous materials and Controlled Products (ITAR, EAR, Section 5 etc)
- Understanding of factors which may impact on material delivery (Shelf Life, Hazard Codes, Magnetic influence, test certificates, etc).
- Qualified or working towards CILT/CIPs or equivalent professional qualification
