Introduction to Role:

Are you ready to take the lead in implementing new and redesigned pharmaceutical Supply Chains globally? As a Supply Chain Project Director, you will be responsible for leading Supply projects/programs on time and budget, developing project plans, managing relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders, and ensuring that project teams adopt quality and compliance standards.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing new and redesigned pharmaceutical Supply Chains globally, leading global projects across multiple organisations, geographies, and business areas. You will interact and collaborate with a wide group of partners including senior management, external suppliers, AZ operations, finance, technical, quality, and CMC teams as well as counterparts in IT, development, and commercial teams to deliver these projects and impactful changes. You will also manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope to ensure timely completion of the project and meeting deadlines.

You'll build and lead project teams whilst presenting roles and responsibilities ensuring that impact and changes are effectively communicated to the business.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor-level degree in a scientific, engineering, or business field

  • Extensive program/project management in the pharma industry including leading significant Supply Chain change projects

  • Technical experience across the one of following areas – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Drug Substances, Formulated Product, Finished Pack, Devices and Critical Materials, Technology Transfers, New Product Launches

  • Well-developed organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and contract manufacturing organisational

  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams across external suppliers and internal functions
