This long established charity are seeking to appoint a key role within the SLT, an experienced Director of Finance & Governance. Please find further day to day responsibilities below: - Providing strategic and financial guidance to ensure that the charity's financial commitments are met. - Building close relationships with regulatory bodies, while advising and guiding organisational stakeholders as necessary to ensure compliance. - Analysing and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; collating financial reporting materials and overseeing all financial, project/program accounting and analysis. - Coordinating and leading the annual audit process across CV, while liaising with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of Trustees - Continuing the development and implementation of internal audit cycles and reporting to ensure that the charity complies with financial procedures and regulations. - Overseeing and leading annual budgeting and planning processes in conjunction with the Managing Director; administering and reviewing all financial plans; monitoring progress and keeping the senior leadership team abreast of the organization's financial status.
