Description
- Oversee the operations of the Accounting & Finance department
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities
- Manage financial risks and opportunities
- Foster a positive and productive team environment
- Report on financial performance and make recommendations
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organisational goals
Profile
A successful Finance Director should have:
- Strong senior leadership skills
- Outstanding team management skills
- Understanding and experience of working in a registered charity OR health & social care
- Excellent stakeholder including board level experience
- Significant experience of both accounting and financial management
- Excellent understanding of financial planning and strategy
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
Job Offer
