Job Title: Supply Chain Project Manager
Location: Portsmouth, Naval Base - We offer hybrid working 3 days on site and 2 days at home. We offer flexible working arrangements
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
- Leading all Supply Chain activities within a T45 Class Ship Repair Programme, to provide bid support, strategic development, operational performance management, tactical issue resolution, ensuring Project revenue, budget performance and customer satisfaction targets are achieved
- Managing the project life-cycle, ensuring Supply chain outputs are met e.g. Management of Bills of Materials for Bid deliverables, Supply Chain Management Plans, Supplier Risk inputs, Phase Reviews, Design/Technical reviews as required by the Platforms
- The prime point of contact for all project related contract management and procurement issues and liaise with the Supply Chain Organisation for material and subcontracted services to address reported issues
- Ensuring known Supply Chain risks are understood within the project and mitigation plans are agreed and protect the commercial interests of the company and where necessary captured in either the project or Supply Chain Risk Registers
- Developing an approach to manage Supply Chain status, performance, and critical issues management within a shared project and functional management structure
- Managing the Supply Chain Project performance, budget and risk and report into the project contract review pack
Your skills and experiences:
- Experienced Programme Manager and leader with SCM experience demonstrable working within major complex programmes
- Ability to provide leadership, capability, and processes to deliver project, functional or business unit objectives
- Logical, analytical approach to pragmatic and effective problem resolution, being solutions focused
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and stakeholder management at all levels
- PMP / Prince 2 and or Degree in Engineering would be desirable but very open to experience

The Supply Chain Project Management team:
You will be a member of the Supply Chain Project Management (SCPM) function for the Ship Repair Upkeep organisation. You will be one of 5 SCPM's delivering guidance to ensure that the project requirements are recognised, planned for, and met in terms of quality, cost, and schedule adherence. Helping to develop and administer the Supply Plan and strategies (including the implementation of KPI's and Metrics that suit) for this strategically significant and extremely complex nature of the Ship Repair business.
