Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Casual Nursery Nurse to join our team in Derby. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly while making a meaningful contribution to the development and wellbeing of young children in a nursery environment. As a Nursery Nurse, you will collaborate with experienced educators to create a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities and experiences that promote learning and development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive community.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success and effectiveness of the nursery team.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and adults alike.
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
- Flexible, adaptable, and reliable approach to work.
