Job Description: Supply Teachers Location: Teaching personnel require qualified Teachers for supply roles across Brighton and Hove, Lewes, Peacehaven, Seaford and Saltdean. Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £100 - £130 Per day Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Are you looking to pick up shifts as and when you want them? We set you up with a diary so you can open your days to work and block your diary when you are busy. Do you have a year group preference? We can prioritise you for KS1 bookings or KS2. Job Duties: Provide cover for absent teachers in schools on a short-term basis Follow lesson plans and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students Assess and provide feedback on student progress and performance Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student development Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student assessments Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Prior experience teaching in a primary school setting Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum and teaching methods Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students Effective communication and interpersonal skills Organisational skills to maintain accurate records and lesson plans Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education or specialised subject area Experience working with students with special educational needs Additional certifications or training relevant to primary education Working Conditions: Work in various primary schools in the South East England, East Sussex, Brighton area Part-Time hours, with flexibility to choose shifts based on availability Collaboration with school staff and teachers Potential exposure to student behaviour challenges Use of educational technology and resources All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
