Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a number of Supply Teachers to fulfil a large number of supply bookings across the whole of Hampshire.
We at Reed Education Southampton run the busy Hampshire Supply Service along with the Hampshire County Council, covering over 500 schools across Hampshire. We work with a large number of primary and secondary schools, as well as Specialist schools, supporting with supply cover, long term absence cover, and permanent vacancies!
As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work around your busy lifestyle and home life, working within your preferences as a teacher. You will attend bookings with a professional manner, and address the class you will be covering as you would your own class – keeping children engaged and enthused with the lesson content. The perk of Supply Teaching? NO HOMEWORK!
The salary for this role is a set daily rate, and you would receive payment on a weekly basis. Pay rates for Supply Teachers are set between £130-200 per day, dependant on the cover type and experience of the candidate. You can start immediately after becoming compliant through Reed, and can work as much as you want!
What do you need for this role?
- Qualified Teacher Status or Teaching Degree with Specialism
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one (this can be done through Reed)
- Available at least two days per week ideally
- Willing to travel up to/around 30 minutes to bookings
- Open to working in a number of schools
