Responsibilities:
As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of telecommunications infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Technical Support:
- Provide expert-level support to customers and internal teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SIP, IP, networking, and VLANs.
- Analyse and diagnose complex problems, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Manage and maintain telecommunications networks.
- Monitor network performance, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network improvements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.
- Develop knowledge base articles for common issues to facilitate faster problem resolution.
- Communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to clients on the status of ongoing issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with 1st Line Support, Network Engineers, and other teams to address escalated issues.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive working environment.
