One of the leading day-centre in Leicester areas is looking for Support Staff to assist with people
We are specifically looking for candidates who:
- Are flexible
- Can work weekends where necessary
- Have experience of working with vulnerable adults
- Are excellent communicators
- Are empathetic, patient and have a caring nature
- A qualification within the health and social care industry is desirable.

The Thurmaston day centre is to engage adults who have various learning or physical disabilities in activities that will encourage creativity, enhance their quality of life and build on life skills.
Our focus is to enrich the lives of the people we support by integrating them into the community and provide person centred, day to day activities and events.
Day service opening hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday Part time positions is available where you will be required to some weekends if required.
THE ROLE
We are looking for Part Time Support staff on permanent basis with a passion for delivering excellent care to develop, plan, implement activities for our clients. As a Support Staff worker you'll help to create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support for our clients. You will help to devise imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability.
An extremely rewarding role, part of your time will be spent getting to know our clients before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone's wellbeing, independence, and social engagement as well as monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the activities.
