We are looking for experienced caring individuals to join our team of Support Staff at a new home under the "Transforming Care" model to deliver 1-1 support to clients with challenging behaviours and potential forensic backgrounds. The Residents will have a varying degrees of learning disabilities, Autism, Sensory impairments and challenging behaviours. Support Staff will be promoting independence, and supporting them to lead a fulfilling life. While keeping the Residents, themselves and others safe at all times.
Every day will be different where you will be supporting the individuals we care for with daily challenges, helping them to learn new life skills and taking part in day-to-day activities that most people take for granted. Residents will be encouraged be out and about, enjoying life together and no single day will be the same.
Due to the challenging nature of the clients previous experience is essential specifically with Positive behaviour support and challenging behaviours, You will receive specific training tailored to the needs of the people you support, with guidance from an experienced Registered Manager and an Internal PBS specialist that will help you develop the skills further. We provide additional training to help you achieve your ambitions with genuine opportunities for career progressions within an established and growing care provider.
We are recruiting for both day and waking night staff with a rolling rota and flexibility considered to meet the needs of our Residents.
Clear communicators are a must, the people we support require clear and easily understood communication to maintain a strong relationships and to best support their care.
