Duties:
- Provide personalized care and support tailored to individuals' specific physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Implement care plans, safeguarding plans, health plans, and behavioral support plans effectively.
- Support individuals in engaging in community activities to enhance their social interactions.
- Supervise family contact sessions as directed by relevant authorities.
- Administer medications following established protocols and guidelines.
- Attend meetings concerning individuals' care and well-being, offering valuable insights and updates.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using appropriate documentation methods.
- Adhere to assigned work schedules, which may include weekends, holidays, and night shifts as required.
Experience:
- Possession of an NVQ Level 2 in relevant fields such as Healthcare or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience working with diverse populations in supported living or home care settings.
- Strong organizational and management skills to coordinate care effectively.
- Understanding of complex needs with the ability to provide tailored support accordingly.
- Possession of a valid UK Driving Licence for transportation requirements.
- Prior experience in dementia care, behavior management, hospice care, senior care, or childcare is advantageous.
- First aid certification is preferred for handling emergency situations effectively.
