Pay rate: £13.50 per hour (WEEKLY PAY)
Shift Pattern: Shifts to be confirmed on interview - Need to be flexible.
Requirements: Previous experience supporting people with mental health and or/and autism and a full UK driver's license.
This role will be supporting a man in his 30's who lives with mental health and autism. He has a love of music and spends his spare time Djing amongst many other interests. We will provide staff on a 1:1 basis.

You will need to have the ability to remain positive, on difficult and challenging days.
Key responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of daily living and have the ability to help someone build everyday life skills. (Cooking, cleaning, shopping, and planning)
• Helping to plan and organise leisure opportunities such as seeing favourite bands, walking, places of interest etc.
• Watching DVDs with them and joining in with specific interests. (You will need to be willing to learn about these)

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

• UK driver's license preferable
• Previous Autism experience
• Previous experience working with meant health
• Enthusiastic and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility as you may be required to go away with the person and their family on short breaks and holidays.
