Due to expansion within the company, Hays are searching for permanent Support Workers to join an established local care provider. The company specialises in domiciliary care, where Support Workers provide invaluable care, ensuring the ability for service users to stay in the comfort of their own home.
Your new company is passionate about giving the right training before joining as a Support Worker and so you would receive a 5-day induction where you will be put through incredible programmes to ensure you're up to speed with everything and can support you with gaining further qualifications like NVQ Level 3.
Ideally, you will have experience already due to the complexity of the needs of the service users. No package will be the same, with some being 24 hours shorter shifts or varying levels of ratios, such as 2:1 or 3:1. The position will be open to Support Workers looking for days or nights and full-time or part-time.
What will we need for you?
- Ideally 1 year of experience (or more!)
- Car drivers would be good, but not essential if happy to travel by public transport.
- A positive attitude
- Willingness to continue training and development.
