Comprehensive IT skills, and experience using Microsoft office including word, PowerPoint and databases.Minimum one years experience in the last five years working or in a voluntary role in a welfare support role determining and assessing needs and ensuring appropriate support is in place.Experience in dealing with a varied caseload and working in partnership with other support agencies.Understanding of issues affecting members of the Police Forces and their families in relation to the Troubles.Experience in making application for support to voluntary or statutory bodies or charities for assistance.Demonstrate an understanding of issues affecting members of the Police Forces and their families in relation to the Troubles.Demonstrate an understanding of the structure and organisation of the Police Service of Northern Ireland including its welfare and support systems.Full driving licence and access to suitable transport for business use or access to a form of transport that will enable the postholder to carry out the range of duties in full. , Experience working within a police environment.
