Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Transition Service Support Worker on a permanent full-time basis, covering the Greater Belfast area, with a salary of £20,820 per year starting per year and staff benefits.

Offering a wide range of services throughout Northern Ireland, our client also has a very ambitious plan through 2024/2025 to reach the numbers of people who are at risk of becoming homeless or people who are experiencing homelessness.
Under BFOQ (Bona Fide Occupational Qualification) guidelines, we can only accept CVs from female candidates. You'll also need to hold a valid, clean driving license and access to a car to meet the needs of the role.
Responsibilities:
With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:
- Provide effective 24-hour support to service users, in particular, young people transitioning into the community.
- Advocate for and ensure the needs of young people are met effectively while making sure you promote their independence through progression, development, and support.
- Ensure the young person is consulted and involved in all aspects of their support where possible.
Requirements:
- Female only under BFOQ guidelines.
- 6 months of experience paid or voluntary, in supporting people with complex needs, multiple needs, and challenging behaviours in the last 3 years is highly desirable.
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C minimum.
- NISCC registered, or willing to be on the register within 6 months of appointment.
- Valid, clean driving licence and access to a car to meet the needs of the role.
