Support Worker - COMMUNITY based

Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate Support Workers to provide assistance and care to individuals in various settings such as home care environments.

Duties:
- Assist clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals in need
- Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with mobility, including lifting and transferring clients when required
- Provide specialized care such as dementia care or patient care as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in assisted living facilities, or home care is preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks as required
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards those in need of care
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their families
- Certification or training in areas related to patient care or support work is a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
