We currently have an opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our team in Alva, Clackmannanshire.

Here our team supports 8 individuals who all live in their own self-contained flats in Alva.

The people we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities, mental health concerns and general health, but this hasn’t stopped them from enjoying life! The people we support enjoy lots of activities, including cycling, going to the gym, walking, going to the pub, having a boogie, listening to music and cooking up a storm.  However, they’re always up for trying new things, so are looking for inventive people who are up for the challenge.

Our support team are very diverse and work well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes.  This can include:

Supporting them with medication
Cooking 
Assisting and prompting with personal care
Maintaining the homes of people supported and managing their finances 

Our team provide support 24 hours a day, so we are looking for flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some weekends and waking nights.
 
We are currently recruiting for a full-time (37.5 hours) Support Worker to join the existing team
 
Sometimes the people we support really need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female colleague is required.  This is a genuine occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
