  • Here at Fairview Gardens we are different in lots of ways (that’s what makes us so interesting) with our ages ranging between 27 to 40.
  • We are all mobile and independent around our home, we need a lot of encouragement and support to keep our rooms and the house clean and tidy. We all have different support needs some of these include Anxiety, Autism, and learning disabilities.
  • Our staff team is fully trained in all areas we need support. We help our staff team to understand our support needs

     

    What is important to us

  • Each one of us has our own interests however we all like to watch a movie, go the pictures, and go to the pub every now and then as a group
  • Activities we all love to do range from being outdoors visiting museums, and national parks to staying in and playing video games. Some of us love to cook and enjoy the whole experience from planning, and buying the ingredients to sitting down and enjoying the final dish.
  • All we want is to live our best lives possible, we are all very easy-going lads. We like to have fun but also hibernate in our rooms sometimes.
  • We like staff that has similar interests to us, they must be kind, caring and compassionate. We would not get along with people who are bossy, pushing or running around


  • Our home is in an ideal area that makes getting out and about easy. We are right near Lidl, Tesco and Norton village. There is a bus stop near by that enables us to travel into local towns Stockton and Middlesbrough.

Other information

  • We always have 1 member of staff on shift so lone working is required. We do have other staff throughout the week supporting with 1:1s.
  • Shift Pattern - 6 Hours per day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and then 1 full 24 Hour shift from 10am to 10am the next day (includes a Sleep Shift) - Total Hours = 42
  • We are currently searching for a 1:1 support worker who has been driving for over a year. One of us has a mobility car this would be used to take one of our guys to all the places he loves to go. You will not need your own vehicle, but will need to have held a Full UK Driving License for at least 1 year. Applicants without a license can not be considered.
  • In order to support us to have the best life possible our team has specialized training in all the areas we require
  • Our home is a large, detached property located in a largely residential area of Norton. It has 2 floors and upstairs is the main bathroom that we all share and our bedrooms. Downstairs has the sleepover room for staff and the communal areas, the kitchen, lounge, and utility room. We have a nice size garden out the back.
