Support Worker – Roche – 36 hrs per week - Must be able to drive
The people we support enjoy a range of activities from annual holidays to going to the theatre and cinema. One person we support has recently been surfing with the Wave Project. We rely on good communication within the team to ensure good outcomes for the people we support. Our team share ideas to ensure they are supported by the rest of the team. We have a long standing staff team with a huge amount of experience and knowledge. We enjoy a team that supports each other so they can be the best they can at supporting but also to enjoy your work and create a positive environment for the people that live there.
You will do everything from supporting people with their daily living tasks with things like finances, administering medicines, cooking and supporting them to live the lives they want to live. The people we support enjoy accessing their community to participate in their favourite activities, including: shopping, swimming and watching a movie at the local cinema. You will work in a team focused on delivering the absolute best care and support, where everyone understands exactly what needs to happen to get the best results – this is where the magic really happens.
Be a reliable presence during evening and weekends, engaging individuals in meaningful activities and helping them maintain routines. Sleep in support is also required, ensuring the safety and comfort of individuals while they sleep.
