An opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker to join a motivated and dynamic team.
Are you an enthusiastic individual who would like to work in a highly committed team to provide support to Deaf, Deafblind and Hard of Hearing people?
This role will involve working face to face with Deaf Deafblind and hard of Hearing people including those with complex communication needs.
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills including a current working ability to communicate in British Sign Language.
It is also essential that you have experience of working with Deaf, Deafblind and Hard of Hearing people.
As a Support Worker you will provide skilful and effective support to individuals to develop their skills and therefore increase their independence and improve their quality of life.
You will carry out assessments to create and follow support plans to work with individuals towards achieving their goals using a psychologically informed approach and working with other professionals from a range of agencies.
