We are proud to offer a reliable and trustworthy domiciliary care service to vulnerable adults who wish to remain in the comfort of their own home. We are building a new friendly team, so we want compassionate care support workers to join us.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

• Experience of working with adults with dementia, physical disability, sensory impairment and learning disability .
• Demonstrate knowledge of Person Centred Working and experience of working with challenging behaviours
• Flexible in approach to the needs of person(s) being supported, enabling them to take control of their lives.
• Experience of enabling person/s to develop the skills and confidence needed to live as independently as possible is essential
• Identifying the support needs of clients and implement their support plans to meet clients needs. Daily support including provision of personal care for people in their own homes.
• Hours of Support on a rostered basis is Monday to Sunday. (Flexibility is key) Minimum hours per call is 4 hours.

• (Preferred) experience in community support for adults with Dementia, learning disabilities such autism.

Licence:

• NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (Preferred)

Criteria:

• Be caring, empathetic and respectful
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• DBS on update is preferred. In the absence of this, you should be willing to have a Disclosure Barring service check completed on applicant's cost only.
