Shift Hours: 12-hour night shifts, Thursday to Sunday (22:00 - 07:00)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Night Concierge to join our team and oversee the security and well-being of a student accommodation building. This temporary position requires individuals who are customer-oriented and capable of maintaining a secure and welcoming environment throughout the night.

Responsibilities:

Security Monitoring:

• Conduct regular patrol.
• Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activities promptly.
• Ensure the safety of residents and their property.

Access Control:

• Manage access to the building, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
• Verify the identity of residents and visitors.
• Issue and collect keys or access cards as needed.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
• Address inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with resident requests and emergencies.

Emergency Response:

• Act as the first point of contact during emergencies.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities in case of incidents.
• Implement emergency procedures as necessary.

Maintenance Oversight:

• Monitor the building for maintenance issues and report them promptly.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs when required.
• Perform routine checks on building systems.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents during the shift.
• Generate reports for management as needed.
• Communicate effectively with day staff for seamless transition.

Qualifications:

• SIA Badge
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Physical fitness to perform regular patrols.

Duration:

This is a temporary position initially however, this could lead to a long term opportunity potentially resulting in permanent employment.
