based in Cambridge who are motivated to make a difference.
Reporting to the Supporter Care Manager, you will ensure excellent Supporter Care is provided to all supporter types, including sponsors, committed givers, cash supporters, community supporters and general enquirers.
Your new role
With excellent communication skills and good attention to detail, you will be self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking and prioritising. Your typical daily tasks will be to respond to supporter queries in a timely and professional manner by telephone, email and post, communicating via telephone, post, or email with supporters who wish to change their donations in a prompt, helpful and professional manner, preparing and sending supporter updates to regular givers, representing the charity at small community events to thank for donations, which will include some presenting, providing administrative support for all donor processes, supporting the regular review of donor communications and FAQs, to ensure that all supporter materials are kept up-to-date, Inputting data into the CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring that data is coded and processed correctly and that all supporter queries are logged accurately, undertaking data cleansing tasks within the CRM system, keeping abreast of relevant procedures and documentation from international colleagues and external agencies plus any other administration to support the senior team and other colleagues in other departments as and when necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered in this role ideally you would have any experience in working within an NGO or charity sector with experience in Supporter Care or customer service but this is not essential. You should have excellent communication skills both written and verbal together with excellent telephone skills. Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks by prioritising effectively is key. You should be computer-literate and confident in using all MS Office software. You should be a team player and driven by what you do makes a difference. You should be motivated to deliver exceptional results.
What you'll get in return
This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible. Our client has modern offices in central Cambridge with excellent public transport links but no parking unfortunately. This is a full time role working Monday to Friday with flexible hours like 8-4 or 9-5pm. This role is offered on a hybrid basis with flexibility to work in the office 1 to 2 days per week (you can choose) and the rest home working. A competitive salary of 25,000 is offered with and excellent benefits package which includes 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays and time off for Christmas), excellent pension, paid sabbatical leave and charity/volunteer days.
