Surgical Veterinary Nurse Grade 5 (Part-Time) (2 Posts)

These posts are based at the Small Animal Teaching Hospital at Leahurst Campus, near Neston, Wirral peninsula.  This is an exciting opportunity to join the theatre team in our busy state-of-the-art Hospital.  You will predominantly be based in theatre, assisting our diverse referral caseload, from Soft Tissue Surgery, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Diagnostic Imaging, Oncology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Dermatology.  The nurses will be involved in a range of surgical techniques, and will use state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the best possible care to our patients.   You will be a qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant experience in surgery.  You must be flexible in shift patterns and you will be required to be on the nursing rota for weekends, Bank Holidays and University closed days.  The hours of work will be 30.5 hours per week, 4 days per week, plus 26 days holiday, pension and additional benefits.  The posts are available immediately.   For general information about the SATH visit http://www.liv.ac.uk/sath/   The University has the right to close the vacancy early if it is deemed that there have been enough applications received.
