Your new company
My client is a market leader FMCG, located in 12 countries, 18 locations, selling over 1 billion products each year.
Your new role
You will help deliver the sustainability agenda by measuring and reporting environmental data, managing disclosures/audits and research insights on how the organisation can strengthen its data quality, analysis & reporting. Working on advanced sustainability topics like lifecycle assessments (LCA), product carbon footprints, Scope 3 accounting, supporting improvement projects and conducting sustainability impact assessments to drive customer engagement by developing credible sustainability documentation and stories.

  • Lead on all environmental data measurement and reporting for internal dashboards and the environmental committee.
  • Lead on the improvements of standards of data collection & management for reporting of Sustainability KPIs
  • Prepare content for the annual Report , including progress, case studies and data disclosure, adopting agreed best practice standards and assurance.
  • Lead on coordinating completion of leading ESG surveys, such as CDP and Ecovadis, to a high standard. Source information from across the divisions and be accountable for fact checking content.
  • Research & analyse performance against peers to help identify opportunities to strengthen McBride's own work.
  • Scoping and delivering science-based sustainability impact assessments, based on LCA tools and methodologies
  • Support on improvement projects as required.
  • Calculating product carbon footprints, in accordance with different frameworks for our divisions
  • Supporting customer collaboration with engaging material/case studies
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders and building networks, influence, and impact
  • Sourcing and communicating on external/insights to contribute to our global climate literacy program.


What you\'ll need to succeed
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability or a related field
Experience of working within a Corporate Sustainability team.
Awareness of main modelling approaches in LCA (life cycle assessment)
Advanced Excel/SAP knowledge
Excellent spoken, and written communication skills in English
Measurement and reporting, stakeholder engagement, project support, research & analysis, influence.
Driving licence
Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
