What We Are Looking For...
Reporting into our Ethical Trade Manager you will be responsible for the coordination of project processes and/or activities all with the purpose of helping us to achieve our sustainability commitments towards people and planet.
This is a brand-new role for our CSR team and would suit someone who is genuinely passionate about sustainability and would like to develop within a fashion high-street brand environment, using their experience of end-to-end project coordination.
The Role
- Support Line Manager on regular Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing duties and processes
- Provide frequent support to functional Head on specific sustainability initiatives, including helping prepare for regular work sessions with Senior Leadership members.
- Active participation on strategic projects, during concept development and planning, conducting research assignments and creating management frameworks.
- Carry out delegated project coordination activities, including stakeholder engagement, contributing information and data analysis to support the specification of project deliverables.
- Working on solutions and strategies for long-term sustainability goals.
- Keeping up with industry standards and initiatives and building brand awareness.
- Liaising with external retail partners and distributors to ensure we remain aligned to the required CSR standards for our global markets
- Confident to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
- Anticipates and balances the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Plans and prioritises work to meet commitments aligned with our goals
- Uses clear and effective verbal and written communications skills
- Works with full competence to identify, define, unify, and coordinate various projects
- Has a strong understanding and passion for responsible sourcing and sustainability
- Strong attention to detail and data
- Ability to network and maintain relationships within the industry
- Ability to take responsibility and can be trusted to get things done
- Able to manage multiple projects and developments simultaneously
- Proactive and positive, always looking to support and collaborate
