Sustainability Graduate Program

During this first ever Sustainability Graduate Program, your mission will be to drive sustainability initiatives and gain experience in projects that support the delivery of key areas from Gymshark's sustainability strategy.

Working within our Sustainability Team you will build and maintain collaborative relationships across the business, with other teams such as Sourcing, Materials, Product Development, Product Management to deliver on our sustainability targets. With Gymshark's vision of becoming a 100-year iconic brand, our sustainability strategy is key to establishing a sustainable platform for growth. So you'll be part of an important team and working on significantly value add projects.

Our two-year Graduate Programmes are designed to nurture future talent and help individuals become the best version of themselves. But we are not talking about the gym here! If you've got a great vision for yourself, attitude, ambition, and drive to work hard, Gymshark could be the place for you!

Program Duration: Two Years
Program Location: Blythe Valley Park in Shirley, West Midlands, UK

What you'll learn

You will gain experience in the following areas (& more!)

• Supporting the Sustainability Function in its entirety
• Managing our sustainability databases to drive our Supplier Scorecard to monitor, measure and improve their performance.
• Supporting the team in collating and inputting data onto the Gymshark Sustainability Website as well, as our Annual Sustainability Report.
• With guidance, assisting the Sustainability managers with their projects including data collection and analysis, feasibility assessments, and administrative tasks such as supporting in the preparation of reports and presentations.
• Challenging and contributing ideas/suggestions to projects that will support Gymshark in delivering sustainable impact.
• Developing materials for internal communication updates on sustainability initiatives.
• Researching sustainability trends and presenting back potential opportunities

What you'll need

We're not about box-ticking and our Graduate Programs are about developing you.

To be successful for a Sustainability Graduate Program with us, you will:

• Demonstrate a strong ability to anticipate problems, offer solutions, and address issues
• Have a solid understanding of the key principles of sustainability (particularly ethical & environmental) and sustainability opportunities within manufacturing processes, likely gained from a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree
• Display a clear passion for Sustainability and performance / sportswear fabrics and gained further knowledge across textile / waste recycling
• Have good data management and analysis skills with strong familiarity across Microsoft Office Suite

What happens next?

If successful, you will be invited to complete a video interview in your own time so we can get to know the person behind the application.

Video Interview Outcomes: End of May
If successful, you will be invited to an in person assessment day at Gymshark HQ in June.

✅ Be happy to work from our HQ campus (Shirley, West Midlands, UK) 4-5 days a week
✅ Be ready to start from September 2024 for two years
✅ Have full, unsponsored right to work in the UK (unfortunately we cannot provide sponsorship for our Graduate Programs)
