Sustainability Project Lead

There are two positions available for this role, one based in London and another in Newark.
This is an exciting new opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about sustainability and renewable energy. Securing a number of high-level projects has led to the company’s expansion, and they are now looking to welcome a Sustainability Project Lead to their team.
They are passionate about delivering outstanding sustainability consultancy services, supporting projects on construction and regeneration, and helping businesses to benefit from the possibilities that sustainability presents. The in-house consultancy service makes sustainability simple, helping each project to prioritise sustainability throughout the project lifecycle. The company is dedicated to providing an exceptional service to their clients through reliable communication and leadership.

The objectives of the sustainability strategies emphasize on resolving social, environmental and economic issues. This is where you come in. As they help other businesses to focus on reaching net zero, minimising waste, optimum material usage, and community engagement, you will need to be well versed in these subjects. In this role you will be working with senior partners and directors to develop strategies for businesses to progress their sustainability and sustainable energy plans. You will be responsible for delivering talks and engaging presentations to clients on improving the sustainability of their estates. For this role it is essential you have a strong, knowledge and understanding of sustainability and sustainable energy so you can create in depth analysis's of clients estates to help create engaging informative presentations.
Responsibilities

• Introducing sustainability strategies to clients, at which you will present information.
• Working closely with senior partners and directors of the business.
• Developing technically driven strategies and solutions for sustainability and sustainable energy within businesses.
• Producing and delivering well organised documentation and communications using Microsoft Office.
• Research into clients current ESG performance

Essential Skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of sustainability and sustainable energy.
• Strong understanding of sustainability and sustainability consultancy.
• Knowledge of delivering renewable energy options
• Confident giving presentations.
• Ability to develop project proposals for investment.
• A degree in a related field, such as business sustainability.

This role is Hybrid split between 4 days in the Office and 1 day Working from Home.

About Company

The offices are located in London and Newark. Although the successful candidate will work remotely, they still need to be able to travel freely to meet with clients and attend meetings.
