- Maintain a robust supplier sustainability assessment process to ensure NHBC has a clear view of its supplier's sustainability profile.
- Collate monthly reporting figures on ESG-related metrics, providing essential insights from Travel, Fleet, and Facilities contacts.
- Prepare a project pipeline for individual projects and interventions, collaborating with key stakeholders to reduce GHG emissions from contracts and suppliers.
- Assist in the development and ongoing review of a sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain strategy, identifying areas of concern and proposing corrective action plans.
- Continually review Operational and Supply Chain Sustainability processes, bringing key stakeholders along on the journey to improve NHBC's sustainability position through engagement, education, and communication.
The ideal candidate will have
- Ability to illustrate a good understanding of ESG and the emerging market
- Experience in a supplier engagement role with a sustainability steer
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Resilience and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Passionate about sustainability
