Overview:
Salary: Up to £45,000 + up to 10% bonus per annum
Working Location: Milton Keynes, 2 days per week
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities:
What you’ll be doing
  • Maintain a robust supplier sustainability assessment process to ensure NHBC has a clear view of its supplier's sustainability profile.
  • Collate monthly reporting figures on ESG-related metrics, providing essential insights from Travel, Fleet, and Facilities contacts.
  • Prepare a project pipeline for individual projects and interventions, collaborating with key stakeholders to reduce GHG emissions from contracts and suppliers.
  • Assist in the development and ongoing review of a sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain strategy, identifying areas of concern and proposing corrective action plans.
  • Continually review Operational and Supply Chain Sustainability processes, bringing key stakeholders along on the journey to improve NHBC's sustainability position through engagement, education, and communication.

The ideal candidate will have
  • Ability to illustrate a good understanding of ESG and the emerging market
  • Experience in a supplier engagement role with a sustainability steer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Resilience and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Passionate about sustainability


Known internally as Sustainable Procurement Specialist.
