We're looking for an individual to join our Prints and Graphics apparel content team with a specialism in Kids wear.

The role is predominantly for a print and graphic kids wear specialist, however from time to time you will be required to create content for women’s, men’s, swim, active and intimates. You’ll be primarily producing trend reports, however, you’ll be required to edit artworks and occasionally design too.

With proven industry experience, you will have a deep understanding of the prints and graphics market and sustainable applications, with a minimum of five years working in either a brand, a supplier, a retailer or a design studio.
Primarily you will be producing your own content, however, the role also entails
collaboration with our team of international experts to support their content output.
We’re looking for a candidate who will be proactive in presenting new ideas and delivering innovation, with the ability to pinpoint trends from preparatory data and analytics that will have a commercial impact across all levels of the fashion market.

This role sits at a level that is equivalent to an in-brand prints and graphics designer.
The Team

You will be part of a dynamic and high performing content team who have one goal in common - to be the proudest WGSN brand ambassadors. You will also work with the global content team, made up of seasoned industry experts.

Key accountabilities
  • Researching and creating solution-driven content, showing a clear understanding of client needs across all product categories. To deliver this content in either written, visual or video
format
  • Working with international freelancers to commission content and edit print and graphic designs using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Forecasting and tracking with quantitative and qualitative data within all markets and demographics
  • Delivering traffic growth by consistently evaluating internal data and client feedback to improve P&G content standards and relevance
  • Contribute to WGSN trend days when required, putting forward new ideas and suggestions for content creation, report processes and formats. Collaborate beyond the direct department to build knowledge within the wider Fashion Content team
  • Travel nationally and internationally to cover industry trade shows, conferences and other events when required
  • Present to and speak with clients to understand their needs. Work with the commercial teams to support client relationships
  • Provide quotes for press and broadcast media as required

Skills, experience & qualifications required
  • Proven career experience within the print and graphic kids wear market with a background in trend forecasting, design or buying, demonstrating a deep understanding of the apparel industry across design, buying, textile innovation, sustainability and lifestyle drivers
  • Proven experience in research, data analysis, writing and editing content
  • Understanding of print and graphics applications and techniques, as well as sustainable alternatives
  • A proven ability to sketch and design, with expert Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
  • Ability to decipher how macro and micro trends and social media platforms are impacting print and graphics output within the apparel industry
  • The ability to manage your own time effectively to meet exacting content deadlines
  • Willing to invest time to build strong working relationships with the wider content team as well as sales, client services and marketing. The ability to work remotely while supporting colleagues from other offices
  • Good written English
  • Technical skills: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
