We're looking for someone like that to help identify where Marketing can create value for UBS’s Global Banking clients, driving Marketing projects that support the firm’s advisory and capital markets activities, from inception through to project planning implementation.
- Develop the annual marketing strategy to support business objectives, in partnership with the leaders of the EMEA GB business
- Strategize, prepare and implement marketing initiatives, to be rolled out across multiple channels
- Collaborate and coordinate across a range of stakeholders in Global Banking, the wider Investment Bank and other UBS divisions and at times with external partners.
- Partner with not only the broader IB Marketing team, but also other communication and group marketing functions to deliver marketing communication plans and go to market strategies that use a broad range of channels to reach and engage our key internal and external audiences.
- Hold regular dialogue with GB management, providing return on investment information/KPIs to internal clients and management as relevant and tracking marketing budget spend against targets
- Help drive key ESG initiatives and support our goal to be a leader in sustainability

The Investment Bank’s Marketing team provides strategic, advisory, planning and creative execution services to support and delivers client marketing and communications activities, helping UBS meet its strategic business objectives and revenue targets. Using the full range of marketing tools and channels, the team produces targeted, timely and cost-effective solutions, delivered within UBS’s brand, legal, and operational standards.
Your expertise
- Solid Marcomms background with technical expertise, preferably from within financial services, and ideally with account management experience
- Good organizational skills and a knack for working in a fast-paced international environment as part of a team, juggling multiple priorities
- Skills in writing and message development, and in “packaging” written and visual content
- Knowledge of Investment Bank products and services and its revenue drivers, as well as the overarching market structure environment and capital markets trends
- Familiarity with the prevailing regulatory environment with respect to rules for communications, understanding client targeting and messaging nuances
- A good understanding of UBS’s competitive landscape

- Highly persuasive and able to drive strategic projects from concept to execution, gaining buy-in and, navigating complex internal
- Resilient, robust and comfortable with challenge
- Self-starter, comfortable with a high degree of autonomy and motivation to grow book of work, client base, projects and networks.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience of working as part of a global team.
- Calm under pressure and able to produce high quality work within short time scales.
- Highly driven, creative and with the initiative to work autonomously when required
- Interested in and/or have experience in the sustainability arena
