Working Pattern: Monday 06:00 - 14:00, Tuesday 09:00 to 17:00, Saturday 06:00 - 14:00, Sunday 06:00 - 14:00

Salary: £12.50 - £18.75

Looking for a fulfilling role in a vital service? We're searching for a part-time Switchboard Operator to join the team at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.​

You'll play a crucial role in connecting callers to the right places. Handling approximately 3000+ calls a day, as you assist both internal and external inquiries, including emergency calls.

The Role

• Answering internal and external calls withing agreed KPI and SLA agreements
• Providing efficient, courteous, and helpful support to callers
• Operating internal bleep system
• Proactively maintaining the computer database of hospital personnel, departments and telephone numbers
• Undertaking any clerical duties deemed necessary in order to promote efficient at all times
• Required to work public and bank holidays, should your shift fall on that day as our department operates 24/7, 365 days a year

About You

• Important to have good communication and clerical skills
• Be reliable and able to work well as part of a team
• Able to cope well under pressure
• Previous experience would be preferred but not essential, full training will be given
