Hays Senior Finance are recruiting on behalf of their prestigious client for a permanent Systems Accountant to join their busy team. Salary is £48,000 - £54,000 depending on experience + hybrid working, 39 days annual leave and highly competitive pension.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for taking the lead on all finance & system process improvements, driving continuous change and ensuring processes are optimised, ensuring the highest quality service. You will be responsible for obtaining & maintaining in-depth knowledge of the finance systems & process, ensuring the system meets business requirements. You will map processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement & change to improve efficiency, accuracy & enhance financial controls. Working with your colleagues, you will work to embed a culture of process improvement & change. You will lead finance testing & sign off system upgrades. You will do this with the support of a finance systems analyst, acting as their direct line manager.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be a technical Accountant with extensive experience in finance system improvements. You will have strong experience in identifying & driving finance process change & continuous improvement. You will be confident in relaying financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
