Systems Accountant

Reed Accountancy are seeking the expertise of a Systems Accountant for our client based in Warwickshire.

This role will be reporting into the Head of Finance with and working within a small friendly team.

The role of a Systems Accountant is to interface with IT colleagues crucial in ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of their financial systems. This liaison is responsible for communicating significant system issues and enhancement requests between the finance and other departments.  Playing a pivotal role in translating financial requirements into technical specifications and overseeing the implementation of solutions that align with the company's strategic financial goals. Effective collaboration and a deep understanding of both management accounting and information technology especially within FMCG systems are key to the success of this role.

We are seeking an IT guru especially within ERP systems from FMCG, although not mandatory and part qualified studiers.

• Acting for the Head of Finance
• First point of contact ensuring essential system administration tasks are performed and/or resolved.
• Monthly Management Accounting
• Ensuring accuracy in regular and ad hoc reporting.

To be successful in this role, you will be a part-qualified accountant, able to demonstrate a logical mind and an ability to understand ERP systems, how they operate and be able to troubleshoot.

You will have an analytical mindset, be a strong Excel user and be able to meet strict deadlines.
