We are seeking a talented Systems Analyst with strong integration skills to join our dynamic IT team.
This is a permanent and full time role. Our Support Centre is based in Speke, Liverpool L24 and ad hoc on site will be required.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in analysing, designing and implementing system integrations to ensure seamless communication and data flow between various software applications within our organisation. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking and communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
The key responsibilities in the role are:
- Analyse existing systems, workflows and process to identify integration opportunities and improvement areas
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand integration needs
- Design, develop and implement system integration solutions using industry-standard methodologies and tools
- Configure and customise intergration platforms, middleware and APIs to facilitate date exchange between different systems
- Perform data mapping, transformation and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of integrated data
- Conduct thorough testing of integrations to identify and resolve issues or discrepancies.
- Document technical specifications, system configurations and integration workflows
- Provide training and support to end users on utilising integrated systems effectively
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends and best practices related to system integration and business process automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects and project managers to deliver integrated solutions on time and within budget
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience (7+ years’) as a Systems Analyst
- Strong understanding of integration concepts, protocol and technologies such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, ETL and messaging queues
- Ideally experience with integration platforms
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL for data manipulation and querying, experience with SQL server would be a bonus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
