Salary: £26,000 Annually
The Environmental Services System Support Team here at Serco provides first line support on key business applications for our contracts. This role will primarily lead on the provision of first line support of Whitespace Management system. As a support analyst you will ensure all tickets/requests are resolved within the given SLA. You will also assist with and sometimes be responsible for key administrative tasks, which are critical in the smooth running of the support function that the business depends on.
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide first line support of the key line of business applications, predominantly whitespace.
- Work with operational teams to understand their support requirements.
- Work with wider team to ensure supplier KPI's and SLA's are in place and are being met.
- Troubleshoot and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders and follow up on resolution.
- Participate in system testing and upgrades to ensure the smooth functioning of systems.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of system documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of system issues and resolutions.
- Assist with the reporting on system usage, providing reports when issues have been identified or when improvements are believed can be made.
Skills Required:
- Experience of Whitespace Management system is desirable but not essential.
- An IT/System qualification is desirable.
- GCSE Maths and English is essential.
- Establishing strong relations with Contract managers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data/statistics.
- Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
