Key responsibilities of our Systems Assurance Controller:
As the Systems Assurance Controller (OHS) you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Integrated Management System (IMS) with particular responsibility for ensuring site compliance with the requirements of the Health, Safety and Welfare Act 2005 and ongoing certification to ISO 45001.
You will be part of the IMS team ensuring compliance and continuing certification to Quality, Environmental, Energy and Compliance management systems. You will also be reporting on the effectiveness of the IMS system to top management.
You will be promoting awareness of policies and procedures to all staff, while driving improvement objectives throughout the organisation.
What we are looking for in our Systems Assurance Controller:
You will have:
- A professional qualification for health & safety (NEBOSH certificate or equivalent)
- Experience of working with various IT programs e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to act quickly and decisively when problems arise
Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:
- Internal audit qualification
- Full driving licence
- Experience of working within a Manufacturing Facility
- Experience of working within a FMCG and chemical processing environment
- Experienced in the use of SAP
- Management experience
